Darby Electric Company services industrial electrical and mechanical equipment, such as: AC & DC electric motors, squirrel cage rotors, generators, pumps, fans, reducers, rolls, impellors, transmissions, and variable speed drives.

We also provide field services: Predictive maintenance, laser shaft alignment, vibration analysis, dynamic balancing, infrared thermography, and oil wear particle analysis.

New equipment, renewal parts, and purchasing services are available through our inside sales department.

We opened for business in August of 1948 and have grown to serve a nationwide base of industrial, utility, and other service shop customers. 

Quality and long term value are our primary service goals.   Advantage International Registrar certifies our quality system to conformance with ISO9001:2008.  We are the first motor repair firm in the United States to achieve registration to Level 1 of the EASA-Q international quality standard.

We are a Certified Service Provider for the ABB Group Baldor/Reliance Electric and are also certified to provide startup service for the ABB Group Baldor/Reliance AC and DC variable speed drives.

Darby Electric Company is an active member of the Electrical Apparatus Service Association (EASA), which is the international trade group for firms that repair or rebuild electric motors.
