NOMEX® Insulation Systems provide excellent performance at high temperature, extending the life and reliability of motors and generators.

Motors may encounter temperatures considerably above their design ratings due to: Overloads, Stalling, Restricted cooling (especially in dirty environments), Reduced or unbalanced line voltages, Frequent starts and stops, or High ambient temperatures.

NOMEX® ground insulation can help prevent equipment downtime because it does not shrink, embrittle, soften or melt during short-term exposure to temperatures as high as 300°C, and it maintains good insulating properties continuously at 220°C for many years.
